Welcome to my page! I would love to get to know more of Martina's fans, and hope you want to get to know me too!

My name is Ellen, and I am from the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. If you haven't been here, it's such a gorgeous place - the lakes, the vineyards, and you can't beat our amazing Fall seasons! I am an interior designer currently building my career close to home. I love to travel, and there are so many different sides to me that I don't think I can stay in just one place for the rest of my life! Luckily anywhere I go, I know I'll be just a drive or plane ride from home and my family, and of course, Martina!.

My favorite things to do are to LAUGH and to SING! I have learned to sing Martina's songs and achieve her vocal range and power the same way she learned from Pat Benatar - by practicing every chance I get, and by studying the nuances in her voice. Other interests include interior design (of course), performing arts, traveling, water sports, horseback riding, swimming/diving, decorating for holidays, music, movies, animals, my dog, and of course my friends and family.

For me, Martina's influence and inspiration are just too great to put into words! When I look back, I realize how lost I felt before I fell in love with Martina and her music. There isn't just one song that I identify with, but I have such admiration for Martina's ability and courage to bring so many ideas and issues to the surface. Every lyric really makes me stop and think about how we can all make the world a much better place just by contributing love, decency, and compassion, and finding ways to laugh and smile.

The best way to describe the way I feel about Martina is that I just feel at home. I feel loved, comforted, inspired, beautiful, fulfilled, confident, ambitious, and so much more. I look up to Martina not just as a fan, but more like a daughter. I lost my mother to cancer when I was just 15 years old, which left me frightened and confused about my path in life. My mom was such a driving force in my life, and now Martina helps to fill the void my mother once instilled with grace and courage.
